Baby Logar

Published by under Member News

Congratulations to Jody and John and baby Zanna Diane Logar. Zanna has born in Elkins on January 11, 2008.

Jody is doing well and is said to have running plans for 2008 all lined out. Her entry for the Highlands Sky in June is already filled out and ready to mail.

Jody claims Hammergel to be the perfect post partum fuel. Dr. John is recommending it to all the pregnant ladies.

Zanna’s arrival also gives the Logar’s a legitimate excuse for missing the January 12 Annual Meeting and Run.

Annual Winter Meeting & Run

Published by under Uncategorized

A hearty group of runners gathered in Helvetia this Saturday morning to welcome in the new year with this annual WVMTR get together. We had a nice run through Kumbrabow State Forest, an equally nice post run meal, and a productive meeting. As the photo shows the usual January weather for this part of WV was absent. Mid 30′s and the lack of blizzard conditions like 2006 made for pleasant mid winter running.
