The DD website has been updated to match WVMTR.org new look! Remember that the race is next Saturday, May 17th at Kanawha State Forest.
Tracey, the self proclaimed Director of Canine Affairs, has few announcements:
“Jack” Gibbs entry arrived today. He is going for a three-peat! Check out the Top Dog Hall of Fame.
We’re tracking of a group of runners on the right trail to being named Streakers with the 5th Dog! Are you on the list?
Did you know that the Dirty Dog 15K Trail Run was featured in the February 2008 issue of Trail Runner Magazine as a “standout Trophy Series event?”
Awww, shucks!

Several folks from the MD contingent of WVMTR are doing a training run on the Highlands Sky course on Saturday, May 17th. We plan to follow the HS course from the start to about mile 19 and then run back down the hill to our cars at the start. We’ll be camping at Seneca Shadows for the weekend. If you’re not already running or volunteering at Dirty Dog or MMT, consider joining us for the training run.
Contact me at price14@gmail.com if you plan to join us.

Adam and Kadra got married this weekend in a beautiful ceremony in Beverly, WV. None other than Bradley Mongold escorted the couple through the process as groomsman and several of your clubmates were lucky enough to attend. Unfortunately, we don’t have the photo rights to post images of the bride and groom (People magazine was reported to have paid a “ridiculously large sum” for the rights to publish the first photos of the couple), but we do have a couple juicy shots from other attendees at the reception. Congratulations Adam and Kadra and all the best to you!
