WVMTR Boys PR at Shamrock Marathon
Hillbillywill Potts and Bobby-G “Gillandez” both set PR’s at the 2009 Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach.

Gillanders went out fast with the 3:10 pace group and and never looked back. He made a break from the group around mile 21 and set a Marathon PR in 3:06.
Potts sauntered for the first 5 miles enjoying the sights and sounds of the big city before deciding it was time to run a marathon. He was able to fire the twin turbo diesels during the second have to run a PR in 3:17 good enough for a trip to Bawston in 2010.
After the race Hillbillywill and Bobby G were spotted frolicking in the grass like school girls on spring break.
Both runners note that they could have not set PR’s without the support of their lovely ladies Lisa and Julie.
WVMTR Celebrates
I have taken up running over the past year and really feel great!
I am thinking about doing one of these runs. Maybe I will see you there!
