Final Highlands Sky Trail Work
Yesterday Lara Lehmann, Ryan Gaujot and Dan Lehmann brushed out the “buttslide” section of the course. For those uninitiated this rapid descent from Dolly Sods at mile 35 can be muddy and slick. It sure was yesterday! We’ll have to see what June 20 weather brings. The narrow, brushy, twisted section just before the slide is now widened and a bit more runnable. Thanks Ryan and Lara.

Ah, the infamous “butslide” section. I certainly appreciate your alls hard work. Anything you have done is so appreciated. That section is managable when you are feeling relatively well, but is almost impossible to get down when the legs are not working. A week and a half and we will all experience it AGAIN! Thanks to all three of you! Rick
