Watoga Weekend
Anne Bailey Lookout Tower
A good time was had by all in attendance at the annual WVMTR Camping Weekend at Watoga. We were blessed with great weather on Saturday for running, fishing, swimming, and excessive eating. Sunday’s torrential downpoor made us all thankful for the roofs over our heads when we returned home.

It was a great time – even the run. I wish I had gotten some more pics of the after party. Oh well.

Great shot at Ann Bailey Lookout Tower. Fond memories of some earlier runs up there and across the ridge top and beyond. It does me good to know that you guys and gals are out there on the trails.

Just got in from a night run up Rich Mtn to the towers. Raced a nasty storm coming back down the mountain and got to the house just as the heavens opened up. Whew!

Yes, I’ve got to get ready for chasing a bunch of yeahoo runners up on Cheat Mtn in 2 weeks.
Oh how true your words are. A bunch of yeahoos running around West Virginia in the dark. Can’t wait to be a yeahoo!!! Cheat Mountain here I come.
