Great job Mark. You picked a good group to start with, these guys are really fun and keep you motivated.

Lehmann's. Thanks so much for a great wknd. Your home is awesome and your hospitality was second to none as always. Greg would say that Willie's contribution to the evening was quite the catch as well. We had a great time and the race was really fun. Thanks again for everything. It's always great to get to hang out with everyone.

My wife, Mary Ellen, is an experienced runner, having done ultras and Boston Marathon 2 or 3 times... this was my first running event of any kind...

I only started walking up on the Skyline Drive, near my home, back in April... one day... while in boots, and jeans... I decided to run part of the down hill... pretty soon... I was doing my 3 mile loop in trail running shoes...and began to run the downhills and flats...

Mary Ellen encouraged me to start running a few times a week...and after a month or so of struggling to walk up hill 2 miles...and running back... I finally got to the point where I could run a little of the up hill.... so...

Long story short... I have only been over 5 miles 3 times before this race... and Helvetia was my first 10K.... I really enjoyed the event....

I have a long way to go...but was pleased that I finished this 10K... and hope to make it back next year... and sorry that my wife wreck her race by tagging along by my side, but I was glad to have someone keep my pace realistic... I have so much to learn...

Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Lehmann for such a wonderful event!
