Robin’s Looking GOOD!
This picture says it all!!
I hadn’t visited Robin since Friday and remembered how hungry she was and kept asking for real food and water. Anxious to see her today, this is what I saw when I walked into her room at lunch time!! OH MY! I gasped! She had passed her swallowing test earlier this morning so they removed the feeding tube and she was eating REAL food!
I visited with her and Alan for a little while and she was showing me her cards and notes from everyone. She is asking lots of questions, however she doesn’t remember how she was injured.
As I went to leave, I was saying my goodbyes and she looked at me and said “Now, if there is anything I can do for you – you let me know”, I told her there was something she could do for me and for everyone and that was to get better! She replied “OK”. For those who know Robin, you will recognize that what she said, is a sign of her “old” self!
Continue to keep the prayers, heartfelt wishes and cards coming.
She is in 5-South room 510 of CAMC General Division.
Watch for more updates later in the week.

Wow she looks so much perkier. Greg and I went and spent some time with her on Thursday, and she was so hungry and bored. It’s amazing what a little food and time have done for her. She looks so much better. I can’t wait to go see her again.
Thanks for the updates.
Robin, I know you don’t know me well, but I am usually running close to you early on during a race and then you leave me. You are so full of energy and life. I can tell from your picture that you have made it to the switchback in the trail and on the way to recovery. Prayers have been given and will continue to be given for a special lady. Rick
So great to see you doing well Robin! There have been many folks praying for you throughout this ordeal. There is certainly power in prayer and I’m so glad to see you on the mend.
Praise God!

Robin is now out of rehab and at home.
Robin:
I don’t believe we have met. I know Dan Lehman and Adam and several other WVMTR members.
I had expected to see/meet you at MMTR as my competition. Then I discovered you had this horrific bike accident. I can’t tell you how relieved I am that you are recovering and it appears you will be back 100%. However, I see nothing since this post on Sept. 21. How are you doing now? My good friend, Barb, had a horrible bike accident in 2007. She has recovered 100%.
Please let me know how you are doing, where you are in your recovery, and/or if you need anything. Many prayers for your continuing recovery.
Regards, Vicki
