It's cold and snowy, they're hungry runners, they'll eat anything!
Mark your calendar for January 9th and plan a trip to the Lehmann Farm in Helvetia for the WVMTR Annual Meeting and a day or weekend of fun. Voice you opinion on the burning issues that face our organization, or just come out and have some fun. We’ll take a run, have a fine potluck meal, discuss the past year and what’s ahead for our club. Feel free to come Friday night, we have plenty of floor space. Stay Sat too. No the hot tub is not fixed Paula. Bring the kids if you have any, there will be something for them to do too.
The run will start at 9:30. Bring a few bucks to participate in a high stakes, high adventure running game sure to win you fame and fortune.
Please bring a covered dish, fruit, snacks or dessert for the lunch table.
Please drop me a note if you can make it, mailto:irunwv@gmail.com

I had a wonderful conversation with Robin this evening. She is in a second rehab center that specializes in her type of head injury. Robin is upbeat, her sparkling, optimistic voice is solid as ever. She has come a long way since the Sept. 5 accident. Check back to that date for early posts.
Robin is walking regularily and hopes to be back on the trail running scene soon. She visits this site and sends thanks to all hoping and praying for her return to health.

If you are in the neighborhood come on out to the Greenbank Observatory for a post Thanksgiving 5k. Wild Man Mike Stennes, radio astronomer and runner, puts on the event to benefit the local high school xc team. A flat run around the radio telescopes and aliens. Plenty of good post run pizza too!
