James – Not necessarily, but hopefully. Stream crossings make for that much more fun. There are some creeks, but they are generally low in August. So the short answer is – be prepared to get wet. . . especially if we’ve had any rain in the 48 hrs preceding the race.

It is probably not necessary to pre-register, but I would go ahead and call the 4-H Camp and reserve a site. The number there is 304-636-3638.

I plan on arriving for the race on Thursday evening and camp through Sunday. Is it necessary to pre-register for one of the Boy Scout camping spots?

Dolin, As you probably know, I was # 1 last year (bib # only). If you drive to Adam’s, you will certaily beat my entry there, but mine will not be too far behind. The race is on!!! Rick

Rick, you better hurry if you want to get the #1 race number, I’m gonna drive up to elkins and knock on Adams door at 9:01am with my form.
