Brief Description:
The course is beautiful, some good hills. There are a number of stream crossings, and just a few rocky areas. VERY runnable. Maps will be available day of the event, and the entire trail will be clearly marked. We get great reviews from runners.

12th Annual Run. Sanctioned by USA Track & Field. Race begins at 7 AM Race day sign ups on Friday evening & begin at 5:30am Saturday. All registrations on line at active.com Limited to 220 participants. Free bbq chicken dinner after the race for all runners. Lots of free flat camping space. Saturday breakfast available for purchase. Completion awards for all runners. Special awards for first man/woman and top ten only. . Time Limit – 8 hours

This is a very fun race. It’s a little short distance wise, but the rolling hills easily make up for it. A real bonus is the post race chicken dinner. Good eats up there in Capon Springs.
