The 8th running of the Highlands will be June 19, 2010. Come run a challenging course through some of the most beautiful wilderness in the east.
Entry is now open. The race filled last year so get yours in early. Complete details at Highlands Sky.
I just called the campground and they are all booked up already. Does anyone know how far away the blackwater falls campground is, or if there is another closer campground?
Blackwater Falls is the closest campground other than Canaan and it is about 8 miles away. Get a room at the lodge it pretty close to camping.

Do you need any more volunteers for this year’s race? I may be able to make it down this year to watch and volunteer if you need some more help. Let me know.

Pretty close to camping, yet so much more expensive.
I might try to hitch a ride up Friday morning with someone going through Charleston, that way Greg could just meet me there later, and I might already have the camp set up, If I can get one.
Anybody leaving from Charleston willing to haul me up there Friday morning w/my tent?
P- I plan to leave Charleston around 4PM. Am coming home Sunday AM. Call or email me if you want a ride.
