Crossing Big Run

Dan and I enjoyed the beauty of early spring on Spruce Mountain yesterday during a reconnaissance trip of the WV Trilogy course.  I was once again reminded of how special this event is going to be.  In a run of a mere 20 miles we were treated to amazing views, residual snow drifts, various casualties of winter, awesome trails, and some invigorating stream crossings.  This area never ceases to impress and amaze me.

Entrants are starting to roll in for the Trilogy.  Be sure not to miss out. . . unless you are not man/woman enough to tackle all that is the WV Trilogy.

Martha Brook Dolin

Ashley and Mike are the proud parents of Martha Brook. Born March 16, 2010 at a perfect 6lbs 5oz. Congratulations and Happy Spring.

The Potomac Audubon Society in Shepherdstown, WV asked if we would spread the word about their event on April 24. This Race is for the Birds will be 7.7 mile and 4.9 mile trail races, a kid’s 1 mile run, and a 2 mile “Eagles Nest” walk. This all happens at the US Fish & Wildlife’s National Conservation Training Center along the Potomac River.
