West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners

We have been wanting to do a group run in the Cranberry Wilderness for some years, this August 4 you’ll get the opportunity. We will be camping in Marlinton backyards of Tim & Susan Daly and Dan & Tracey Todd August 3-5. The Greenbrier River Rail Trail and boating are right there, and cool downs in the world class Knapps Creek swimming hole only a short drive.

Saturday morning will be a 30 minute drive up to the Scenic Highway. There are many miles of trails, but we’ll have a loop or two planned out ahead of time.

Bring some fav food dish, fruit, snack, dessert or whatever for the potluck Saturday afternoon. Marlinton has a few restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance.

Cost – $5/adult, mostly to cover the porto J and security guards (yes I am joking about guards, someone asked).
