From Pittsburgh,  Morgantown or points north take Interstate 79 South to Exit 99, Rt. 33 East to Buckhannon, WV. It is 10 miles to Buckhannon.
From Buckhannon: Rt. 20 South 12 miles to WV Wildlife Center, turn left onto Alexander/Helvetia Road. Follow signs, 20 miles to Helvetia.

From Charleston & South: I-79 North to Flatwoods exit 67. Take Rt. 19 North 20 miles to Ireland then Rt. 4 East (toward Rock Cave). Go 6 miles to WV Wildlife Center, turn right on the Alexander/Helvetia Road. Follow signs, 20 miles to Helvetia.

From Elkins: Rt. 219 South 16 miles to Mill Creek, turn right onto Mill Street. Follow signs, 20 miles to Helvetia.

Helvetia is approximately 1 hour from Buckhannon or Elkins, 2 ¼ hours from Charleston or Morgantown.

To Lehmann’s: There is only one intersection in Helvetia. At that intersection is the Hutte Restaurant. Depending which direction you come turn right or left toward Pickens. Pass the Helvetia Store, proceed ½ mile and turn right on Karlen Road. Go 1 mile on Karlen and turn right on our drive and keep left uphill. Red roof, cedar shake siding, you’ll think you’re lost.

Cell phone coverage is virtually nonexistent in Helvetia unless you know the few good spots. There is a pay phone in Helvetia next to the Star Band Hall. Our home is 304 924-5835.
