I  recently joined the WVMTR and had my virgin run at Helvetia last weekend.  In typical virgin fashion I was slightly unprepared for the big event. But in true gentlemen/woman fashion the club members took it easy on me and helped me through those awkward moments. YUK. YUK.  I want to thank them all for the extra drink, power bars and offer of clothing and encouragement they happily provided for me.  Thanks!  The fellowship afterwards were even better than the race, the wine, hotub, food and conversation were incredible and THE best way to end my day.  Looking forward to the next one. Hopefully I'll be a little more prepared and a little less of a virgin!
