DD15K - Volunteers and Sponsors

The 5th running of the Dirty Dog was blessed with great weather and a sloppy course. Everyones dogs (feet and canines) sure got dirty. Results, photos and report will be posted soon, but I wanted to take this time to thank our volunteers and sponsors.

DD15K - Pre-run Update

DDlogo2008In less the 24 hours over 100 runner and dogs will toe the line in Kanawha State Forest. The course will be as advertised - DIRTY! The weather will be great. The forecast for the start at 9:00A is 53 degrees and sunny.

First timers to Kanawha State Forest: It takes 30 minutes to get the starting line after you get to Charleston. Please plan accordingly. Registration is from 7:30A - 8:30A. If the main parking lot is full there is overflow parking at the camp ground entrance. Please come and have a great time.

Dirty Dog 15K - Website has a new look!

Tracey, the self proclaimed Director of Canine Affairs, has few announcements:

“Jack” Gibbs entry arrived today. He is going for a three-peat! Check out the Top Dog Hall of Fame.

We’re tracking of a group of runners on the right trail to being named Streakers with the 5th Dog! Are you on the list?

Did you know that the Dirty Dog 15K Trail Run was featured in the February 2008 issue of Trail Runner Magazine as a “standout Trophy Series event?”
