Shirt Off Your Back

Hey runners, give the Shirt Off Your Back

The T shirt is ubiquitous with running races, your reward to wear another day. But if you have been running for a while your dresser drawers are likely overflowing with cotton race T’s. Some are worn thin, some not, others bring back cherished memories, some maybe not, and then there are those that are just cool. But how many shirts does a person truly need? Think green, enviro, or giving. If you don’t need another T, even a cool one like Highlands, maybe you want to save the waste and redirect the dollars to a greater cause. Give some thought to donating to Shirt Off Your Back

Shirt Off Your Back is new idea for Highlands 2010. You can opt to say no thanks on the cotton prerace T. Your race registration fee remains the same and we will donate the full value of the shirt to the American Red Cross Haiti earthquake relief effort. If you would rather just make a small cash donation that would be wonderful too. You can opt out or make a donation on your Entry Form.

Thanks, Dan Lehmann
