    The 3rd Annual KT 50K/10K trail and 25K run this year has something for everyone. The first year and second year races we had runners from over 20 different states. The KT runs through 3 counties in WV, which many parts are old bison and Indian trails. It began in 1962 from one scouts dream of connecting these trails and creating a journey, it has been maintained by the scouts since. This race has a variety of terrain for every trail runner, it is mainly made up of 26 miles of single track trails and around 5 miles of country dirt roads. The 50k race will be ran in reverse direction from Fraziers bottom to Ona, WV and finish at the boyscout camp arrowhead. The 10K will start near Merritts Creek Road and end at Boyscout Camp Arrowhead. With the exception of public roads, the trail is located in its entirety on private property and without the cooperation of these land owners there would be no Kanawha Trace. So come enjoy the ridges, meadows, creeks, waterfalls, tunnels, and much more. Experience the past and conquer the future.
