The White Grass Touring Center welcomes you to the January snows of Canaan Valley. Come join the in fun of the crazy Annual White Grass 5k Snowshoe Run and Hike. The loop course starts at the tree next to the lodge, takes a spin through the Snow Farm, then climbs gradually (or steeply depending on your perspective) on the XC ski trails to the halfway house, then descends back to the Snow Farm. It’s a hoot. Novices are always welcome. The hike is non-competitive.

Race Day Registration Only

Registration will be on race day from 11:00 to 12:30 at White Grass. The cost will be $5.00.

Bring your own or borrow your friend’s snowshoes. There will be snowshoes for rent at White Grass for $8.00.

       Beverages, fruit and cookies await you at the finish line.

         Awards will be presented in the following categories;
First Place Overall Male and Female
First Place 39 & under Male and Female
First Place 40 and over Male and Female
